Home Sweet Texas
We moved into our new house on August 5th. Our second wedding anniversary was the day before and Ryan spent it on the road moving our things across country. We never really did celebrate officially . . . we figured getting a new home was plenty celebration by its self. It feels so great to be back in TX. McKinney is such a great community and we are close to Plano, Frisco, Allen and many other great neighbors! We were warmly welcomed into our new ward and only hours after our first church appearance we had some members of our ward drop by with warm cookies to welcome us. Aahhh! We've been organizing and unpacking and have most of everything where it needs to be. It has been great to see some long time friends since arriving and we look forward to many other visits with friends and family in the very near future!

8 months and counting . . .
Bethany is and has been 8 months old for some time now. In fact she will be 9 months next week. Gheesh! . . . I blame our recent move on why I haven't gotten this posted earlier!
Miss B is ON.THE.MOVE. . . . at least she wants to be. She wants to crawl so bad but just hasn't figured it out quite yet and that is OK with me. She wiggles all over and I think we should invest in a baby parachute because she has just about jumped out of our arms or rolled off our laps when she see something she wants.
Bethany now has two teeth. That's all. We started slowly giving her soft foods to try (bread mostly) and she picks it up ok but doesn't know how to put it in her mouth. She just flings it back and forth finally dropping it to the floor. When I do go ahead and put a bite in her mouth for her she just spits it out.
Bethany is also a grabber. The other night we were out to dinner and before I knew it she had my potato salad all over her hands and nearly swept the plate onto the floor. She has mastered the sippy cup and LOVES cold water.
Bethany held up to all the craziness of our move with no problems. She was the greatest travel baby ever. She flirted and made friends with everyone at the airport and on our flight to Dallas. I count myself one lucky mama! She "talks" a whole lot as well. She is kinda even sing-song like sometimes. She does her baby talk all through church or in the car and squeals and coos for long periods of time. It is so fun to see such a happy baby!

This picture was just too funny . . . I guess she became interested in her Grandpappy's (my dad) hat the other day. They got one for her to try on and this was her expression. She is a funny kid.
Our Time In Pocatello & Salt Lake City
Finally! Updates and pictures from our trip to Idaho and Utah! Bethany and I flew out to Pocatello and Salt Lake City just one week before we moved to Texas (July 23 - 27). My parents and some of my siblings met up and spent some fun family time together! We had a wonderful trip and Bethany was finally able to meet all of her cousins who live out there. It was so nice to see family who we don't get to see very often. We miss you all tons already! Come visit us down in TX!
The Williamson, Dyer and Leavitt grandkids outside the Conference Center at Temple Square. My parents were able to see 14 of their 16 grandchildren while on their trip west in Idaho and Utah. We also saw another sister, Trina and her family but they didn't join us for SLC.
Family is what matters most and I am happy to say that I have one of the greatest families ever. We aren't without faults to be sure. We have our struggles but we love each other and support one another because Families are Forever and that is something special!

Emilee and Bethany . . . Emilee would sign "baby" and pat the seat next to her and point to Bethany to come sit next to her. They were very sweet to each other. It was SO darling! We LOVE our cousins!
